Please read these terms carefully before using our services

1. Services Provided

TKD Shipping provides domestic and international shipping, delivery, and logistics services. Services may include pickup, packaging (if requested), transportation, and final delivery at an additional charge.

We reserve the right to refuse service for any shipment that violates our policies or legal regulations.

2. Prohibited Items

Customers may NOT ship the following items:

  • Illegal drugs or substances

  • Firearms, explosives, or weapons

  • Flammable or hazardous materials

  • Perishable goods (unless pre-approved)

  • Live animals

  • Currency, negotiable instruments, or precious metals

  • Any item prohibited by local, state, or international law

    If prohibited items are discovered, shipments may be confiscated and reported to authorities.

3. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate shipping and recipient information

  • Disclosing fragile or high-value contents

  • Ensuring items comply with all shipping laws and regulations

TKD Shipping is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect information provided by the customer.

4. Shipping Rates & Payments

  • Shipping rates are based on package weight, dimensions, destination, and service type.

  • Full payment is required before shipment is delivered to customer.

  • Additional fees may apply for oversized, overweight, remote area, or special handling shipments.

    All payments are non-refundable once package has been collected by customer

5. Delivery Times

Delivery/pickup is done 2 times per week. TKD Shipping is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Customs inspections

  • Carrier disruptions

  • Incorrect address information

  • Events beyond our control (force majeure)

6. Loss or Damage

TKD Shipping’s liability for lost or damaged packages is limited to:

  • The declared value of the shipment OR

  • $100 per package (if no value is declared)

    Customers must report damage within 5 days of delivery. Claims must include proof of value and photos of damage.

    We are not responsible for:

  • Fragile items not declared as fragile

  • Normal wear and tear during transit

    7. Insurance

    Additional shipping insurance is available for purchase. If insurance is not purchased, compensation is limited as stated above.

    8. Customs & International Shipments

    For international shipments:

    • Delays due to customs are outside our control

    9. Undeliverable Packages

    If a package cannot be delivered due to incorrect address, refusal, or failed delivery attempts:

    • The customer is responsible for return shipping fees if applicable

    • Storage fees may apply after 7 days

    Unclaimed packages may be disposed of after 30 days.

    10. Right to Inspect

    TKD Shipping reserves the right to inspect any package for safety, security, and compliance with shipping laws.

    11. Limitation of Liability

    TKD Shipping is not liable for:

    • Indirect or consequential damages

    • Delays outside our control

    Our total liability shall never exceed the declared shipment value or the standard liability limit.

    12. Cancellations

    Shipments may be canceled before dispatch. Once a shipment is in transit, it cannot be canceled and fees are non-refundable.

    13. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by the laws of in Jamaica

    14. Changes to Terms

    TKD Shipping reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services means acceptance of the updated terms.
